The dyno is probably fine. I'd imagine it has a lot to do with the operators.

When I dyno there all numbers came in low and even the camero race car had low numbers. They where putting a safe on the back of the trucks..But maybe they fixed this problem since last year...As I remember its a Mustang dyno...

I can understand some personal stuff with DPS, but I don't understand the concern with the DPS dyno.

I have been to DPS a few times & they seemed fine to me. They are a BD Power dealer but their prices were not competitive when I bought a BD exhaust brake.

DPS has had several Dyno Days & from their website one can see that the BDS trucks (Deb, John & Mike) were there in 2007 & 2008.

Perhaps Deb can comment on the DPS folks, facility & dyno?

A mustand dyno does not work with high HP trucks,, really at about 600 hp it is nip and tuck if they will stick on the rollers. (hence the safes etc in the box) Really to be honest, I dont know why we would want to re invent the wheel here, Martin did a great job for us, is a good location for all of us, and runs a dynojet, which in my opinion is a superior dyno anyways

just my 2 cents

Hi Kevin,

I'm not disagreeing with you about AFI (Martin) in Edmonton nor the Dynojet vs Mustang Dynos.

I'm just trying to determine if any dyno in Calgary is suitable.

Thanks Dave. Her feedback will be interesting & I'm also wondering if the BDS folks plan on going to the DPS Dyno Days this year.
