GN is 30ft, fiver is 22ft(6ft overhang/16ft body) so the deck leftover for the Jeep is 14ft. Just enough. Was about $10K total to build(so far)..... My ramps are quite steep, might give problems with a low slung race car. You'd want to look for a dove tail trailer....

Here's the build up:

You'd need a heavier truck than the d-max to tow a trailer like that with the dodge on it, be way over weight for a 2500. Be better off going buying an old moving truck, then the garage is enclosed atleast.

Im overweight as soon as I hook up my 5th wheel.. that dosent bother me...I have good breaks, and airbags, and a trucker mentality when driving... It might just work

If you tow in Alberta you'll be ok. Just get a tandum axle with dual wheels. Most of the weight is on the tires. You just have to worry about the tongue weight. I thunk that BC is the only place that worries about combined trailer weight and truck.

I like your set-up. If you need to haul something else, just remove the trailer. Very flexible. Is the jeep a grand or base model. I had a four door model and sold it way too cheap.
