So much for keeping this quiet. You guys suck at keeping secrets!

Oil feed is the stocker with about 4 inches added.

I couldn't even keep a straight face last night when we got back to the garage, what did you honestly expect?

Was txting Tate, and in the dry it buries the 60psi gauge, and cleans up all the fuel he has right now.

Did a little more adjusting, the threaded linkage rod kept rotating out, not giving me full throttle. Fixed that, loosened the gate a lot, and took it for a rip. Still won't burn the tires in 4th (), but it would hold 57 psi till about 4k when I looked up and noticed the pyro is buried again. Must have been around 2000 degrees on that run. Temps fall extremel fast though. Wasn't watching the stacks to see if it was clean or not. With those temps, I doubt it was.

Chore, not so much. It would be nice to have enough power to make traction an issue, but that will come later. Like I said in another thread, I want to get to CCV and get it on the dyno and see what it does. You'll have to come out, have a chinwag. Get Jamie there too, I miss my 9/16" gear wrench.

The truck goes pretty good for such a big truck, now I'm waiting for the rear to scoot out on a hard 5ft gear pull. As for 60psi of boost, we are just getting started. There more left power still to be had. It would be easy water/methanol upgrade, if Tate wanted to (another plug). The truck cleans up pretty good and spools nice. Its like a different truck vs the silver bullet. A different primary turbine housing would help lower the egt's, but you would loose some quick spool. A few adjustments on the wastegate will fix that issue up.

The next twin combo will really help out the wot pulls, as for 4k, we need to find out why we can't see 5k+. I want to see what that power combo does in a truck that weighs half much.

That does look awesome Tate, great work!

So that's a water cooled Garret on top. It must have a wastegate but it doesn't look connected in the pictures or is it just hidden?

Did the 2nd battery get reinstalled?

What are the specs of the primary (lower) turbo if you don't mind sharing?

We need another GTG so I can have a closer look!

Ball bearing turbo work really good as secondary. The wastegate for the secondary is there. As for turbo specs, I don't remember. I've run three different ball bearing garrett turbo configurations for the secondary. You can go from a pile of exhaust pieces to a complete twin set-up in a few days. Getting them with shiny power coating takes a year.

Tate's next twin set-up is going to be real big power twin set.

Its a GT4202R (75mm/102mm comp) with a Tial 1.0 A/R stainless v-band housing, feeding a GT3782R (60mm/82mm comp) with a .89 A/R housing. The secondary has the stock garrett wastegate, and it is connected. First run on Thursday, it was probably cracking open around 50 psi, now it starts cracking around 20. I had two Tial wastegates to go into this set, but had no way of actually installing them, since it was stainless flanges and at the time had no one to weld them.

You could come out tomorrow, go for a cruise. Unless someone sets up a real short notice get together. I'm heading out of town on Tuesday for three weeks, so it'll be the May Long when I get back.

The twins sure fit in nice and Tate did a decent twins build-up.
Nice color choice
