Fields are starting to turn into lakes east of Stettler. One of the roads off the highway was under water on my drive home this morning.

I read in the paper a week back or so that June is supposed to be a fairly wet month. So far, its true. I'm wondering about when I get home, if my lawn will be a lush green, or if it has washed into the street.

Hey, I just have to say is that we have the best people here in this club/diesel forum. Some are my best friends. Been fun getting to know and try to understand everyone here on the forum.

After everything was down, over, it was kinda fun to have time to go and spend a weekend 4X4'ing.

Even in your backyard, we are very lucky, to enjoy as much offroading as we do here. Yes, there is better, but its difficult to find virgin, remote-used off road system, as we have in alberta.

I concur with Mike. Thanks all you guys for taking the time to share your info. Especially, you Mike, Tate, Shane and Brett. I even search your user names from time to time to gather your info on other topics. I consider all chapter members my friends! Sorry if I troll too much. Just not sure enough of my info to add it. Got the beat down a couple of times!

How bad is the bumper?? I just happen to have one off my '07 sitting along the fence. I don't want to move it when we take possession of the house we're building, in July.

Anyone need a 3rd Gen bumper cheap...........let me know.

I can take a pic if you wish.

Sure lots of mud bog out here in Rocky. This month of June, I bet your almost guaranteed to have rain here everyday. Few of buildings here during this turn around, you needed rubber boots to keep your toes dry. My poor truck has taken a beating from working out here. I must be putting in 1/4 litre of diff oil a day into my rear diff. Last week I found out that my rear pinion seal was leaking. I just don't have the energy to fix that problem yet. My darn water pump is making a nasty noise as well. The truck is more muddy, oily and dirty than clean One of the guys here at the plant has a jacked up 10 ford, with a spartan tune, he thinks its fast, but for some reason he doesn't want to run my my tired old ride. I asked if he is still running the original motor in the truck? He called my truck an old tractor engine truck.

Maybe/maybe notwhy??? We are rebuilding a two gas turbines here. Ya it does feel a lot like home, well (I guess childhood days, twenty years ago or so). I like it, kinda wish my wifey would as well. Real decent out doors stuff out here to do. Been trying not to get to the muck to much, but it seems to find me. Been a long month turnaround. Work 14-16hrs a day for the most of the month, but its been a fun go. Today we are doing some field resizing and configuring just so we can get more gas from the field. Possibly new future work., its cool that you can work so close to Calgary. Usually, I'm over a day away from home travelling.
I almost forget that there is an other life away from work. Sure a nice day, today here. The first week I was here all it did was rain and rain. Sure made for decent muck offroad driving.
