P0206 and 2149
I have to find a shop in Red Deer to take my truck to in the am, just popped those codes a few minutes ago and the truck started to run rough.
Any suggestions? Winkdemon still have his shop in Calgary?

Redo your programing, very common codes.. I used to get them all the time till I put a pressure box on my truck. Pretty much everytime I would run it wide open for any period of time (such as 1/4 mile run) Once I put a dr P on there problem went away
yep i am still in calgary . 403 264 1221

It turned out to be #6 injector was bad. Central Diesel Injection checked it out. Turns out my truck has no blow by, he was very impressed with considering it has 350,000km on it.
I will be in contact about a tranny in the future.

Compression test followed by pressurizing the cylinder is the best way. After that you use a borescope. You have compression on the first piston compression stroke, if it take three or four strokes to build pressure, you have issues somewhere else.
Did an 05 earlier in the week, two cylinders (#5 and #6) had exhaust valve leakage issues.
Wow do CR have lots of issues.
Lots of variables. Depends on your budget. We have a few used engine available 03, 05 and a 06 engine. You looking for something more new, typically our engines are 0.5mm oversized, reconditioned 12V rods, new mahle pistons, colt stage 3 cam, new oil pump, new rod bolts, new oil cooler, basically a new engine inside, new cylinder head (oringed), arp2000 head studs. The block is machined to our specs, and we measure everything. There are few critical areas that really needs to be adjusted and fixed to improve on the cummins engine durablity and realiablity. We even go thru the extra effort to degree the cam to make sure its in the correct position.
We also have a few going together with mono-therms pistons, R&R rods, knifed edge cranks, custom intake plenums, maxed out flow heads, custom ground camshafts, mains gridles with 14mm studs. Few of these engines are getting custom built twins turbos done by us as well.
Each engine is different and is built to the owners own requirements.
