No Mike the motor Is not apart. I am getting one this week and may be getting a full P-pump motor too
Anyways the 24 valve has burnt back 2 pistons , So i will have to get it honed out, more than likely 20 thou over.
I am not going crazy with the motor so just a standard piston. I want to keep the same compression as Stock .

Nice thing is SO VP pistons are priced decently. Mahle has a decent replacement piston. I have 4 standard size VP pistons, if you need them. Just need rings. How bad is the cylinder? Can you clean up the cylinder with a bit of ball honing?

I think they are beyond a ball hone

I will see what wrong with the 12 valve motor too that may be the motor to go with instead considering it has everything on it still
