Cummins, slam it to the ground, put some 22's on it, tint the windows out, and cruise for some hefty babes... hey, its a 1 ton.

Seriously, I have seen a couple of those 4x4 1 tons dropped down, and they actually looked good. Better than that in-between rice and nice stance that they had stock.

Good find, have fun with it.

The beauty if it is, I didn't front out any cash at all for it. I traded him a beatup chev truck I had sitting around plus a early 50s Chev cab and chassis that I got from a farmers field for free. plus a few parts that I've aquired for free over the years. That why I was so tickled. it was mostly free..........

and I've been scheming for 22.5 alcoas shaved down to 22" with low pro rubber already............so BTW if anyone has a set of 6 alcoas sitting around. let me know

I wish I had the time, space, and money to work on something like that.

there is actually a bigger master plan.........the fuel injected 454 will find a home in my '73 RS/Z-28 with a small bit of forced induction, after I yoink it from the crewcab...........

I had 5 6-71s and a single 8-71 blower at one point.........cool factor but too obvious......I'd use a centrifugal blower for a more sleeper way to go.........Like you won't know 'till its too late.

A crate 572 chevy motor would wake her up good of course it would be expensive to feed the motor, but heck its only money. Nice trucking buddy. You might have to sweet talk Tate into getting your old 12v motor back. A p pump engine would make a nice swap teaser. What gears you got in the diff's? It might be cheaper to put in an overdrive unit so you get wicked tow rig with 10 gears to jam.

No gasser is going back into this if the 454 comes out could never afford to drive it from the new house in Okotoks to work everyday. And that '94 12v was the destined motor for this sawp.....but due to extenuating circumstance at the time I had to cut it loose. but c'est La Vie. I'd really like a '97 or '98 913 engine to put in........not any old rattler will do

hey Mike I have your cash too.......I'm on shift till thurs. then free Friday. or if you're in Calgary after 6:30 pm I can meet you..

How many ponies are you looking for? The big differences between the early motors and the late ones are gonna be the pumps and injectors, and you might be replacing them both to make what you want. The 175 pump off the 94 is already gone, and there will be a set of DDP's or F1's in it before it gets any real miles on it. So if you find a decent 94-95, I'd still jump on it.

not looking for any power out of it, just a mileage master for running the highway to work and putting around. I know I don't need a 215 pump but better to have one than not have one I say...........but what ever I come across I'll look at for sure.

I know a guy that has a sweet low mileage 98 12v with no pump on it. I imagen that we can find you a pump. We can meet up on friday. I'm have to pick-up some parts from Alamo, they are machining me some parts for my down pipe. I'll show you what I got in the works. It should be pretty sweet. Hopefully this weekend I'll get the hot pipe welded up. If things go well the old truck could be back in service soon. I also just got two brand new HX-40 (liquid cooled housing ), the only bad thing about them is that exhaust housing is for a T04 flange and they have no wastegates, so I have to dump the turbine housing. You using your old dead HX-40? They have the wrong compressor impeller on it but its workable. It would be sweet to have a HX-40 that doesn't carbon up. They where too cheap to pass-up. I have eight new turbos sitting in my garage and my wife doesn't know about them yet.
