Do you have the 7day timer? That should get you some codes to work with. Its pretty smart.. Most times it floods after it goes out on high flame F54 when I get a bubble in the system. The Glow plug seems to time out and then the fuel pump keeps going for a bit. Lots of smoke and fumes..

is the diagnostic code wire hooked up. i'm pretty sure there is a single wire dedicated to diagnostics . . .

when did you purchase it?

i'd try brett again. he has been great with the questions i've been having. plus he seems to spend more time on DTR at work than he does actual work!!!
(sorry brett if this causes you a headache !!! hahahaha)

either that or call espar and inquire about an archived manual . . .

I would suspect the wiring would be much the same. I have a D4 manual at home but I wont be home for probably 2 weeks.

Might be as simple as the glow plug Rob.. If its an older unit, probably time to replace it.
