Intercooler Hose in Calgary??

I need a custom length of intercooler hose 5"L x 3" ID. 4ply HD.

I've made several calls already with no luck. (Fleetbrake, Cummins, DPS, Gregg's, Ability Hose)

Any idea's. Big rig truck shops?

Thanks, Joe...

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Sadly, still no luck for exactly what I'm looking for...

I found orange boots. Red boots. 2 ply. Rad hose. Minimum 1 foot for $110, etc, etc...
Mopac did have what I wanted, black 4 ply, but minimum 3 feet for $120.
Not sure I want to spend that much when I only need 5".

I sent an email to Richard at Glacier, hopefully he can track it down.

The truck is driveable & the boot & clamps haven't moved but I popped my turbo to intercooler boot before & so I'm concerned.

IIRC, my BD boot for a 3rd gen IC pipe to air horn is 5" or longer. Standard boots are 4", and this one is longer due to my 1" spacer on the intake.

I would give alamo and greenline a call. That were I bought mine from. I have 3in, 3.5in and 4in available, just to bad I'm 2000km away right now.

Could also just weld on some extra length of exhaust pipe to the pipe coming off the intercooler and run the hose what you have. I think most auto shops have 3in exhaust pipe couplers or swing by a muffler shop, they could help you out.

Greenline just has 2ply 3" rad hose. Alamo can order 3ft lengths in for about $100.

This is a great idea, thanks Mike. A muffler shop could do this fairly quickly, then I can use standard length boots, nothing custom.

Hey Joe, got a hose for you, 3" x 6" long, its blue with 3 metal support rings in the hump part of the hose (middle). It will take all the boost your going to thru @ it. Its off smaller freightliner trucks, my cost is just under $36. You can trim 1/2" off each end to make it 5" long. Dont know how many ply, its a real hose. Likely 1/8+ thick, didnt measure it. Saw it the other day in parts while looking for something else. I will pm you numbers if you want it.

Thanks for the offer Scott.

I ordered the correct hose/boot from Glacier Diesel in Spokane. It should be here today or Monday. Much cheaper than anything local.

As an aside, I have ton of Glacier stuff on my truck and Richard is great to deal with.
It's a small shop in Spokane, great web site, they ship USPS to Canada & Richard is very experienced and knowledgeable with common rails.
