IC Boots?

Do any of you Calgary area folks have a pair of boots for the intercooler that i could borrow for a day? I want to test the intercooler that was in my truck when i had the accident last year for leaks. It looks fine, with only a broken tab on the bottom and the right side tab broke off.Hopefully i can throw it back in.

A couple of pieces of old inner tube (one with the valve stem attached) and a couple of hose clamps will get it done.

Doesn't take much in the way of psi to show a leak.

I have my old ones at home. But I am in Edmonton. If you still need them when I come back, I'll bring them along when we set your timing.

Glad it helped.

I've used this trick on rads, intercoolers, a few times and had great success. As long as it a lower pressure, it will work fine.
