Got my traction bars on this weekend
Finally got some time that I could get some work done on my truck. Got the bars installed, I really like them, I think that they are going to work real good. Ill post some pics later.
Next some tin work in the cab around the roll cage. And then rework the nitrous system

prevent axle wrap, and the longer they are the harder they push down on the ground when on the power. basically turns the axle wrapping tendency of the ring and pinion into down force. and the longer they are the more weight of the truck they try and pick the harder they force the tires down
with lots of traction and lots of power its pretty easy to wrap even those giant spring packs. with the leverage of that rear lift block added too. the rear pinion wants to point up when the throttle is on. the only thing holding that back is the ubolts on the rear springs. add the mechanical advantage of that 4" rear block and the springs will wrap and the rear tires will hop.
Hmmmm, thanks for the explanation! Suspension systems are not my strong point. Well, actually, nothing is my strong point, LOL!!
Lemme see if I got this right. So the transmission is turning the driveshaft, then you hit the throttle, which would make the pinion rotate through an angle upwards, (I think I can imagine that happening, that's what makes the truck "squat", right?), then making the axle have a tendency to rotate in a direction opposite to the wheel. That would warp the springs in a kind of S shape. So a traction bar would somehow stiffen that whole assembly to prevent the axle from rotating...yeah more power to the ground I can imagine...cool

The weight transfer is what makes the trucks squat. Just like when you hammer on the brakes the front end goes down.
Mike, so far it looks like Tate is going to come up the week after the long weekend. So at this point I believe he is going to stop by and pick it up. Ill keep you posted!
And again,, thanks for everything... if you make it to blackout you will drink for free!!!

No beating around the bush with you, is there?
Mike, still working in Ft. Sask. I get Sunday's off. This last sunday was busy enough, hopefully this coming sunday I can swing by and pick that turbo up. My garage space at my sisters is continually shrinking, I can't even get to my engine hoist or my head to finish porting it.

Buddy, you're always welcome here, if you need space. Kev, thanks, I might take you up on the free beer. I have to have a reason to drink, and thats a good one. Just want you to make a hard pass, thats all I really want. If its with my turbo, that's a bonus.
