Edmonton Blackout
Kev, Man, its was close to getting in a decent run. Kinda of a nail biter. I wanted to stay, but my wifey would have skinned me. I had my entire family show up for a suprise 40th b-day at the lake. Lots of fun, I should have remembered to bring my helmet so I can at least tried a run or two.
I think if you trade in the 3" IC boots from Mopac for some 3.5" ones you should be good to go for GP, I have used those vibrant connections on a twin setup at 70psi+ without issue.
Make sure you get some video in GP for those of us that can't make it down to watch.
I would rotate the compressor housing so you can use the short 90 deg and run a straight pipe into the IC. I don't have lots of luck with boots and high pressure. I would run as much metal as you can. You can unbolt the compressor housing at that 7/16 clamp. I didn't get a good look see for clearances, but its an idea. At that point you can use the standard 3in high pressure boot from the air tube into the IC.
Kev, as for twins down the road, we would have to run the primary up where the old battery was originally. The secondary would position would rotate 180 deg's. The exhaust would come out under the front right tire, but we would have to bulletproof the motor to handle 100psi+
and add some nos

So, I'm getting off easy then
. I just want see what Kev truck can do with that little GT42 turbo. Once we get the air leaks fixed, its gonna work.
Just for a side note, that wastegate on the turbo was originally at 40psi to start opening and fully open around 50psi. So there lots room left in it, once the air leaks are done.

Well this turbo has at least a 200hp advantage over last years 66mm. That and I think Kev said he added about 200-250hp extra nitrous capability, so adding this up in my head he will probably need a lenco or a bruno, before he needs twins...
Go to ATPturbo.com and try calling them. I see they have both 3" and 4" 45's, but no 3.5" listed. But they might be able to get them anyhow. Thats where I got the boots for my twins.
hey what kind of compressor discharge is on that thing?
I have a nice new discharge 90 off an industrial Series 60.
If you can use it.............uses a vband with the oring and double clamp the boot side. Gt42 if thats what you're running is one of the turbos you found on an older series 60. might work for you?
