Okay boys; I have to install my CB radio in the new truck. Where is the best place (easiest) to tie in for power?

What kind of power are you looking for? Constant, or switched? In my truck (I know, different years), the cigarette lighter is a switched source, and the power port on the dash is a constant source. Check those, should be easy enough to tie into.

Try this on for size. power came from the batts via routing wires above head liner. This takes time to run all the wire but it looks clean.

Thanks for the ideas. I think constant is the way to go.

I have mine on a switched wire so i don't have to remember to shut it off everytime i leave the truck. I just poked around the fuse box under the dash until i found a switched source.
