Help,

Any recommends for new tires and a favourite mechanic shop in Calgary? I'm looking at the Nitto trail grapplers but they are spendy.

Kal tire has an exclusive on Nitto , you can order them far cheaper from Discount tire direct in the US but they will only ship them as far as Sweetgrass because of the exclusive contract still worth doing though !
Nitto makes a great tire , good traction & nice & quiet .

 

yes kal-tire is probably your only bet to get nitto's in calgary.

i have the terra grapplers. i also got them from kal-tire. it would definitely be cheaper to source them from the states and pick them up south of the border . . . but the convenience of kal-tire is nice with free rotations/balances. plus, if you run a set for winter and summer they will swap them out free of charge (provided they are both kal-tire purchases)

as far as the tires themselves - i'v been really happy with them. nice ride, not too noisy, and look good.

I gotta second Kal tire, i've been dealing with the crew at sunridge for the past 5 years or so now, great service for all of our vehicles.

 

You could also try Togo tire...Seems like I always land up there when looking for tires...

 

Innovativeautoworx gave me a screaming deal on my 5 Nitto Terra Grapplers, txt 403-483-5858 and I'll reply with their number. Kal Tire didn't came close to these guys,they're great to deal with, so far I've sent another 4 ppl their way, and, they're all happy.
