Any plans for a spring meet?? I'm up for a day away from the grind and take ole red out for a rip..

 

I would check what's going for meets on ABdiesel. Usually meets in the north (Edmon guys) and south (calgary guys) every sunday.

 

i was snooping around over there.. I like the idea of a meal and a bs session.. kinda like years back in Lacombe or the RedDeer one the following year.. wow.. that was in 05 and 06..

 

Hopefully this spring we can do a dyno event to baseline everyone's winter projects have fared. Last fall CWC dyno event was a big success, I even had the courage to run my 10 on the dyno last year.

 

I just need a excuse to get away for a day.. heck i'll come down to Red Deer or up to Whitecourt.. Just some down time would be nice.. This dang puter keeps to close of track on me.. Now how can i loose my phone lol

 

Grand, where are you located? If you're in the southern end of the province we can hang out with a few AB dudes. They are better orgranized for GTG's. We can meet up there. We have a few decent parking lots for parking the rigs. and the timmies is nearby

 

Ya that was a while ago.. The Nose Dripping Diesel events have been few and far between.

 

I'm up for a chin wag, weekends are getting a little more free this year for a change.

The last time I was at a GTG was the last dyno day at McWynnes in Olds, a little to long I think. I've been out of it so so long the old timers are gray and have been replaced already with a younger set!

Since i saw all you guys i have gotten grey hair.. Heck i'll head down to olds even.. I'm east of Edmonton a bit.. but i find my self in Caroline and Sundre lots..

 

Wow...That was a good 7 to 8 years ago....Thats when our GTG was only about 8 trucks...Sure got bigger since then...

 

The last time i saw Homestead was at FASGAS in Bowden before we headed into Red Deer to Ray's shop.

 

Maybe we should put something together.....Could set something going a Jamies shop in Red Deer...

 

if you are putting together a GTG/ dyno day, let me know, i'll bring the KW, its the only hope i have of being competetive on a dyno

Ya Rays shop had a few events for us. Since he got rid of the old smoker he's been busy with the magazine.

I talked with CCV a few months back and even though they don't have the dyno, they offered their lot any time for us to have a GTG.

Spring event? Even without the rollers is a good time. Some memories from Rays..
