Can't get out silencer ring.

Tried to get it out of my 06 today but it wouldn' t budge. No matter how hard I tried getting it to move with a little screwdriver it wouldn't. I really doubt the 06 is any tougher. Jim

Use 2 BIG screwdrivers...It works

try something a little more pointy, the snap ring is tapered in a way that one direction it guides the point under to lift it out, the other end of the ring is tapered the other way and makes the point jump out and not lift it. kinda like this : _\ versus this : _ /
