thinking about pulling the trigger

Well I am looking at a 2011 3500 crew cab long bed laramie.

$55730 MSRP window tag and can get it for $45555. Am on the fence about this cause the black bucket will be paid off in just under 2 years (22 pmts) but getting the new truck would lower my pmt by a good deal and it would be nice to save some cash and get back into a warranty situation. but knowing me I won't be able to leave it alone and I am sure it will be lifted again with full deletes in no time.

how you guys liking your 4th gen? would you do it again? any issues you are having (small or large).

just trying to get a grasp on whether I should do this or not.

Went from 3rd to 4th Gen and love the truck just hate the mileage right now until I do the full delete to get some mileage back. Other than that truck is smooth and solid as a rock so far.

thanks for the reply bd.

here is the truck I am looking at getting. its on hold right now and all I have to do is say yes. just racking my brain as to what I want to do. right now would be a good time since 11 is the last year for non urea and the deletes will be on when I get back to albuquerque from picking it up.

I'm just like bdewey don't like the milage on mine either, rides like a truck also. Maybe the ride and milage (3000) will get better as time goes on but doesn't even come close to the chevy I traded in. Everything else is good. One thing I noticed on the pictures of the one your looking at are the wheels, those are the wheels that are on my friends 2010, the ones on my 2011 are different, my spokes are solid and flat, don't have that indentation in them. I don't know if thats a year thing or they just have a stock pile of wheels and put on whatever is there, but those are different than mine. But thats a nice looking truck and I'm sure you'll enjoy it, we all like new stuff.

That's a great deal but I wouldn't buy from Stampede ..... I tried to get them to make a deal right but all I got was alot of attitude, so I told them I'd take my business elsewhere.

Did you look at Dave Smith yet? They have a 2010 SLT 3500 for a hair under $38k right now.

I know the GM there very well. My parents grew up with him. They are tossing in a lot of stuff that is not on the build sheet and not charging me for too like a spray in liner etc.

got some not so good news from my Doc. I have destroyed my ankles when in the military and now am wearing a brace on my left ankle that totally elliminates any movement (think of it being totally fused but with a brace). I tried to drive a manual the other day to see and it was not good. I can't put myself or my kids in any situation that can get us in harm so I am going to have to sell everything. Classifieds.....

spank me later. am excited about buying a new truck!
