Mistake turns into.......
A new ride! Deal is done. Old faithful has gone on after providing 7 years and 70,000+ miles of faithful service. She never left me stranded. She always did what was asked. Showed us some amazing parts of the country. She started in 0 degree weather and 100 degree weather. I hope that someone finds some use for her.
She has been replaced with, well... See my sig!

Leave it to a Mainer to wanna push a trailer instead of pull it!
Just kiddin' with ya! Can't help you with the front receiver tho. Strangely, I've never been asked for one. The only thing that came close was the front bumper with a pintle hitch built in that I made for a tree service so they could position a stump grinder more easily.
What part of Maine are you in? I have a lot of family there and owned a place in Phillips for a few years.
Congrats on your new ride!

I have a folding front luggage rack that I put on that carries my Honda EU2000i and spare gas tank when we dry camp on the OBX. I had a front receiver on my 2500. I'm not finding one listed anywhere?
But! Have you EVER tried to put a boat in with a front hitch? MUCH easier!
Rick, the Outdoorsman is an SLT with a few gee-gaws on it. Has some things, doesn't have others. Certainly has everything I NEED for what we do and some things I wouldn't have perhaps picked, the Alpine DVD/NAV system, the backup camera, park assist. All useful but not necessary. Has a big "Outdoorsman" sticker on the bed. Factory spray-in bed liner.

What year is your truck????
Here is one for the 2010 model. It looks like there is a square hole to cut but otherwise it should fit nicely
