I bought a 2016 Ram Tradesman. I was surprised at no fuel cap. Wasn't really an issue, though, until damage showed up on my car after an altercation. I picked up a BEM Auto locking cap, though. It's at least setting my mind at ease. How come there's only one locking cap on the market since this capless thing has been out since 2012-2013?
I grabbed these photos off the website, I'm too lazy to take my own right now: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.die...df26adfc11.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.die...2bdb58576b.jpg Price wasn't too bad for the security, it's like $75.00 delivered. They have a plug with a magnet, and an adjustable plug, too. I think the website says the plug with the magnet is $16.00. |
Super crazy! with how fragile the HPFP is on these trucks you need a fuel cap! Even dust can toast a HPFP these days
