Need a little info. as my new truck is now being built and their seems to be a question as to whether I will be getting the HO engine or not. It may have been included in the price quote with a code of ETJ.and a price of $7615.00.

 

Thats the same code as mine so I would say it is NOT the HO motor.

 

If you got a build sheet with prices shown the HO list price is an added $500 and will be listed separate like an option. At least that is the way it is on mine.

 

Today, I e-mailed Ram in re: the HO engine and they indicated that if it was not ordered originally as an option, that I would get the Std.engine. However,I could get it upgraded/installed @ the dealer.So I can only assume that it is only a computer re-flash or update.If that is the case then I do not think it worthwhile to pursue.

 

Don't think thats true at all, There is something dif with the crank I believe also.
