adding aux electronics?
I just got a 2014 longhorn mega and noticed that it doesn't have any of the aux switches like some of the "other" trucks do. Where have you guys mounted switches for things like work lights and what not? On a quick look around, it doesn't look like there are any EASY out of the way places.

On my son's 2013 Laramie we added 3 guarded switches into the small panel about 4x4 inches right next to the drivers door and easy reach using the left hand. There was enough space and access was excellent. Should you decide to remove the accessories when you sell the truck just buy a replacement panel.

Aux switches and indicator lights
On my 2011 Longhorn, I added seven switches and seven indicator lights to the vertical center stack...plus a couple of more to the removable panel under the steering column. It took a little work to make them cosmetic, but I think it was worth it. All of the switches were routed through relays which were powered by a dedicated, fused battery supply so that all add-ons were isolated from the factory wiring. An auxiliary fuse panel was added behind the right side driver's kick panel. Nothing was unprotected or interacting with the factory wiring, and I never had any electrical problems.
