2011 test drive

Got the bug to trade because of the hesitation in my 2008 (I think the turbo is going out), on the test drive of the 2011 which was less than 8 blocks the check engine light came on and the 80 % DPF full notice regen required now came on I guess I should take that as an omen and just do the deletes on mine and hope that fixes the hesitation or flat spot. It is at relatively low RPM and there is a resonance to the exhaust note as well..........What do you gents think it is? I have 33 K on the clock so the basic warranty is about up, is the turbo covered under the 100K.

Hard to justify the trade up when the check engine light comes on durring the test drive!!!

I wouldn't take the example of one bad apple to let it spoil the whole bunch - go to a different dealer and drive their trucks before giving up on a new one. But also, get that '08 in while it's still under a full warranty! (unless you trade it in right away)

It is an Omen and I would not consider that truck. But you should take all three diesels (Ford, Chevy and another Dodge) for a test drive. See which is the best for you. It's the end of the year and deals to be had.
