Do you have a cabin air filter if so it's plugged, you'd be amazed at how much crud they catch. failing that if you park outside with lots of leaves perhaps your intake is plugged with leaves, it could also be a bad fan motor. Be aware that the only thing that cools the resistor block for the fan speed is the air passing over it so you will eventually burn out the fan speed resistors for low and medium.

Are you getting any noise or vibration on high fan? blower motor control system is diagnosed using a scan tool. You can pull blower motor to check for any leaves in fan housing from under dash. Also check resistor block for continuity. If you automatic temp control you have a module instead of resistor block. Blend door actuators could be stuck also which will set codes. Check for any codes will eliminate any guess work first.

You don't have a filter unless you put one in I had the same thing happen on my 2010 the heater core itself is plugged with dirt.

I think the heater core is clogged with dust, what's the best way to blow it out. I was thinking of dropping the blower motor out and sticking a shop vac up the tunnel and blowing compressed air thru floor vent on the drivers side. And duct taping all other vents
