Superlift leveling kit?
Superlift leveling kit?
Recently had one installed by local dealer. For anyone not familiar with this kit, the rubber coil spring isolator goes right below the spacer. I noticed that the passenger side looked a little off, and downloaded the instructions for this kit. The coli spring isolator was 180 degrees off, which made the coil spring off also. Looked like there was a slight bow to the spring also.
Is this a big deal? I told the dealer, and they are going to reorient the isolator.
To anyone with experience with this leveling kit, is the bow in the coil spring normal?
Thanks

Probably a moot point now, but I went with hellbent Steel's Kit. All iron. Nothing to sag or squish later, which I read alot of comments about after guys having the rubber and plastic ones for some time. And to your point, your springs need to be strait and look correct. Anything other than that is not acceptable.
Step 1 of the kits usually say to mark the orientation of the springs and pads before doing anything. That's so you put them back in the same place, so they sit correctly.
