Scan tool

Just purchased the Xtool D7 bi directional scan tool.
i also purchased a year subscription to Autoauth to get thru dodge gateway.

1) How do I know if Autoauth is working?
2 Anyone have Xtool D7 scanner and know where to access soot level and or force regen?

To check if Autoauth is working, try connecting the Xtool D7 to your truck and attempt to access the vehicle’s ECU or do any tasks that require the Dodge gateway. If you get through without any errors or access issues, Autoauth is working. If you can’t access certain functions, there might be a problem with the Autoauth connection.

To access soot level and force regen on the Xtool D7:

Go to the Diagnostics section in the menu.
Select your truck’s make and model.
Look for the DPF or Diesel Particulate Filter option.
Under DPF, you should see options for soot level and the ability to force regen if needed.
If you're having trouble finding these options, check the manual for the D7 or look for updates on the software.
