New to me 2018 Laramie

I was last on this page a few years back when I had my 2007 5.9. I sold it like a retard and bought an Ecodiesel which I still have. I just purchased a 2018 2500 Laramie.
Where do I start? Just looking to get rid of the basic stuff to protect my engine. Is there anywhere to turn to that can still help me? feel free to PM me. Thanks.

Congrats on the new truck! For protecting your engine and improving performance, here’s where you can start:

Oil and Fluids: Make sure to use the recommended oil and fluids. Regular oil changes are key for engine health.

Air Intake: Consider a cold air intake to improve airflow to the engine and boost performance.

Tune: A mild tune or programmer can help improve fuel economy and power without stressing the engine too much.

Exhaust: If you’re looking to do a delete or upgrade, a better exhaust system can reduce backpressure and increase efficiency.

Monitoring: Install a gauge or tuner (like an Edge or CTS) to monitor important engine parameters, like EGTs, boost, and oil pressure.

Fuel System: Make sure your fuel system is clean, and consider a fuel filter upgrade or additive to keep things running smooth.

You’ll find a lot of help on forums, or feel free to reach out to experienced owners for specific advice on your 2018 Laramie.

Congrats on the new truck! A good place to start is with basics like a catch can to help with blow-by and regular fuel system maintenance. If you're thinking about tuning or deletes, just make sure to check local laws first. For engine protection, quality filters and fluids are key. Forums like this one and groups on social media can be helpful, and there are still shops and tuners that can provide advice if you ask around. Let me know if you want more specific tips!
