I bought a HS Mini Maxx now before they are no longer available. I plan to do the deletes as soon as the warranty is up, if I can wait that long! My question is can I set the tuner to run without deletes just long enough to test that it works alright then take it out, put it in storage until warranty is up then install for deletes? It says that you can set for deletes or not but doesn't mention if you can switch between those.

If you write your factory vehicle, which will cause the H&S to lock to your VIN#, it will leave a footprint on the factury ECU and therefore can void your warranty.
It all depends on your dealer. If, for example, you were just using it for gages, checking DTC's etc.... without tuning, then they might not care? I would ask first.

My dealer takes care of all my warranty work, MINUS Engine/Trans as well as CP3. Other than that they have taken care of everything.

 

Thanks for the info. Was mainly wondering if the MM would switch between deleted and not deleted. Sounds like it will, now if I could only get it downloaded!
