Will a code be thrown if the intake throttle valve is deleted? Also if I were to remove the ERG plunger and cap the cross over 1. would it throw a code 2. would I need an H&S or Smarty? Thanks

EGR Plunger Removal – If you remove the EGR plunger and cap the crossover pipe:

Code – Yes, it might throw a code because the ECU expects the EGR system to be operational.
Tuner – You will likely need a tuner like H&S or Smarty to adjust the ECU settings and prevent codes from appearing.
