has anyone cut into the floorpan to fit 35's with a 2 inch leveling kit?

if leave it stock height, the front edge of the front tire will rub the front of the wheel well liner.

if you put the leveling kit on it, it swings the axle down, and the track bars naturally pull the axle back, so it rubs the rear of the front wheel on the rear of the wheel well liner, and the little plastic trim piece.

here's the rear stock height:

here's the rear rubbing with the 2 inch level kit:

so the problem is, the footwell of the floorpan sticks way out PAST the fender, and into the wheel well, so therefore the wheel well liner and the plastic trim piece have to have HUGE lumps in them, to fit over that pinch weld.

here is the part I think I am going to cut off, this is well forward of the mounting points of bottom of the fender tab.

I am thinking to cut that off, then have it welded up, put some spray paint on it, and use a heat gun to push the "lumps" back in far enough to get the wheels to NOT rub.

FWIW: the OEM caster is -4 (the angle at which the center line of the kingpin reclines, makes the steering "auto correct")

the 2015 has adjustable bolts in the lower mounting point of the track arms, but they are maxed out by a 2 inch leveling kit, I was only able to get my caster to 0.

so if you lift it more than 2 inches, you will definitely need adjustable track arms.

and of course, adjustable track arms should move the bottom of my axle far enough forward, for me not to have to trim this piece of metal.
