Finally doing what I should have done a year ago
LOL, Not everyone has; exhaust pipe, plasma torch, angle grinders, cutting torch, and arc welders in the shop out back, much less the knowledge on how to use them in a constructive manner.
No offence to people who do, ("It takes almost no time to make") I just think that's kind of funny.

I do have a welder in fact I don't think I know anyone who doesn't have one but I guess in a city of over a million there must be someone here.
Anyhow when it came time to get 4 inch exhaust pipe that was a different matter, it was too large for exhaust shops and most other places had to order it but it comes in 10 foot sections. At this point the 2 weeks were almost up and the cost was going to be about the same so I broke down and paid the few bucks and don't have a section of 4 inch pipe laying around.
Good to know thank you! I have been looking into the overhead mount, I like the "out of sight" idea, but I was concerned it would be difficult to use while driving.
Couple of things with the o/head mount, if you are tall 6ft + there is only just enough room for the mirror to adjust to where you need it, when I change the next windshield in I'm mounting the mirror slightly lower. Also the screen is fairly hard to see and I have found that by securing it with the drivers side Velcro only then pulling the pax side out slightly, it sits at more of an angle making it easier to read and has never moved.
