My 2010 truck only smokes a very small amount on kill with my H&S programmer. I left everything mechanically attached under my hood but unplugged. cooler servo, both the egr soleniod and what ever that thing by the egr, and the throttle butter fly. As for the delete pipe, I just used some scrap 4in pipe and some 3/8"plate. Other than that my 2010 truck is bone stock

Mr Blake, very nice write-up buddy

Gone 6000 miles, and my oil is still almost as clean as when I put it the truck. Once the deletes are done, these stock trucks work pretty good.

I'm glad I deleted mine early than later on. Just made the truck work as it should have.

Stop rubbing it in Mike...I'm holding out for the Smarty...for a bit longer.

18K miles, 5K mile oil changes...only 2-3 qts over full when drained

Come on Smarty!

Well I'm around 8000-9000 miles on the oil now, its still clean, might delay my next service. Just did a drive out to the coast, average around 20mpg for most of the trip. Did a few hard pulls in the mountain on the kill setting. Seemed to hand the extra power ok.

My passager side rear bumper is starting getting black with soot.

Awesome...although I hate black bumper....like that it can do it, but looks like crap!

Chris, I don't know if you get this often with your older truck, but my 2010 had a quick puff of white/black smoke today on first start-up. I wonder how many of those puffs starts, clog dpf's. First time its happened for this truck. my older truck its on/off with every start-up.

Mike that quick puff is (I think) a side effect of the EGR bleeding slightly.

Mine used to do it when I had the EGR unplugged and the EJA on my truck. I know that the programmer disables the EGR function, but I think it still lets it open slightly from time to time. Once I full deleted the EGR and Cooler, issue went away.

Makes sense, been waiting for my air horn to come in to complete the delete. Also want to build my own T4 exhaust manifold, just so I can run a different turbocharger. I don't tow in the winter/spring.

Sorry about mudding up the thread.

No worries. This is more of a "General Info on 6.7 Bluetec issues" thread anyway.

Haven't seen that from mine yet...at 40* in the mornings though, I get a nice "steam stream" from the exhaust?? Never seen that on my old trucks until it got down below 0*

I was told November for a possible Smarty Beta program...I hope so!!

Does anyone know if TX will be checking for the DPF, EGR, CAT and/or emissions on the 2010 trucks?
We get emissions testing on our gassers in my county, just don't know if they'll start on diesels.

Can someone speak smartly about the "Black Ops" full delete avail for our trucks?

http://www.8lugtruckgear.com/Cummins...-Kit-p542.html

What is the difference between this kit and the H&S EGR and cooler delete?
