Bulley side step

Picked up a Bulley side step last week and just went to install it on my 2011. At max extension it's about 1 1/4 inches too short and the step contacts the box sidewall. Anyone using one of these and how did you install it?

Well if no one is using a bully side step what IS everyone using to reach into their box and how do you like it? Standing on the tire works but is a little "slippery when wet" and platform shoes doesn't cut it.

I use an AMP Research BED step that mounts to the rear driver side fender support. Here is the link.

That is really a nice product, however I am looking for something that would mount in front of the rear wheel so I can reach my 5ver or goose disconnect and breakaway.
