When to change Crankcase Filter?

At how many miles should a person change the Crankcase Filter? Is the changing of this filter really important? As this filter is somewhat expensive..

It's at the 66-67K mark. At that time there is also an egr cleaning required. Unless the filter is dirtier than normal you'll get a service notice on the evic somewhere near that mileage. I'm at 62K and just ordered the egr service kit from Geno's (currently back ordered).

Thanks for the hot tip. Looks like I'll be buying a new truck every 65k miles. lol Might as well switch to a gasser if that's the case. Shoot they're only good for about 65k anyhow.

Might want to remove the crankcase vent line from the turbo inlet, that should help with the filter life as well as the life of the turbo.

I just did the CCV delete, and the CEL came on about 350 miles later. I put it on the scanner at my buddies shop and the code was showing CCV system disconnected. Can it be turned off with out having a tuner, anybody know? Or do I put black tape on my dash to not see it!
