Throttle Valve Question

My TV is plugged in because I was told it defaulted to the open position. If it is closing partially or completely, what would the effects on the motor?

Sometimes it seems to run very smooth since I deleted, about like it was stock, but other times its just running rough. I'm running the MM with the 30 tune ATT mild. I've set the timing to the default 3 and tried the stock setting 1. It almost feels like a motor thats getting hot, its not - shows 192-201 max, no coolant problems.

The TV is about the only thing I have not pulled apart.

No codes at all.

Here's the hardware list - MM, Sinster EGR/Cooler delete, Diamond Eye down/delete pipes, GDP filter set, AFE Stage 2 CAI - next up, studs

Thanks

The throttle valve is before the pressure/temp sensor so if the valve is restricting the incoming air the sensor should see this and fuel accordingly. If it was to completely close then the effect would be like a PAS (positive air shutoff) and it would choke the engine off. Before I did the deletes I was looking at the idea of using the TV as a PAS but now with the H&S intake and boost tube the TV is gone so with the auto trans there is no way to stop a runaway unless there is different boost tube and 4 inch PAS.
