Hello everybody, I’ve got a major problem. My heater isn’t blowing hot air more like lukewarm. I’ve flushed the heater core twice and left with CLR over night reflushed and Ive got hot hoses on both inlet and outlet sides, changed my thermostat, changed the coolant temp gauge, checked and watched my blend door and actuator, it’s working. Changed my rad fan fuse. Coolant is full with no leaks. I’m stumped, and ideas?

 

Hi, Is the truck temp up to normal? Fan clutch may be stuck on keeping the engine cool. Just a thought.

 

How hot are the inlet and outlet hoses?
What is the temp drop between the two with the heater and fan on high and the truck warmed up?

 

Both hoses I get between 145-155 while my truck is showing 188 in the cab, when I shoot the hoses I don’t get anywhere close to what my dash says except the thermostat it shows 200-204

 

Try using a temp gun rather than relaying on what your dash says.
