Question Clunk in front end

2015 3500 SRW with 24K on odometer.
Drove on really bumpy road that blew up both front shocks.
Created a clunk in the front end. Dealer replaced both shocks and several parts in the front end including steering box. Still have the clunk, you can hear it and feel it in the steering wheel.

I would be very interested in ideas about the clunk!!!

Thanks,
Housted

Been at the dealer for over a week, they cannot find the problem. They acknowledge the problem and have heard/felt the clunk. They are paying for a rental but we will be unable to use our 5th wheel until I get it back.
Wondering about lemon law???

TIA

I think it takes an awful lot to do any lemon stuff. Probably those end links. simple and so often over looked.

My money would be on the track bar bushings.

So, the truck is stll at the dealer...
They have replaced the ball joints on both sides, the steering box, the intermediate shaft, the tie rods, and some other stuff.
Still makes the clunk...
FCA notified and is involved...probably going to send engineer from the factory???

Just wanted to let everyone know what is going on...

If it started after the front shocks were changed they didn't tighten them enough. I had a clunk in the front end on my new 2001 from the factory and that's what it was.

Sorry I was not clear, it started after the bumpy road that took out the shocks. They have replaced the sway bar and bushings.
Hopefully I will hear something next week....

So, I have contacted FCA and yesterday they admitted there are/have been 60 trucks around the country with this problem...They are blaming the steering column and steering box which they plan to replace next week.

A lemon law atty believes my truck more than qualifies since it has been in the shop 43 days as of yesterday.

Pretty frustrating, I just want my truck back so we can use our 5er!!

Thumbs up Final update

Finally after 59 days at the dealer and involvement of the "factory" people it appears to be fixed. They are blaming the steering column. They have replaced essentially all of the components of the front end suspension. Drove quite a bit after picking up and seems to be fine...we will see over time.
