2500 owners with rear coil link suspension

I have a 2016 2500. It has the coil link but not the air suspension. My question is on the RAM website it shows a 3rd shock absorber from the center of the frame to the center of the rear diff pumpkin. Mine has the mounts for this absorber, but no shock in place. Does this shock only come with the rear air suspension, or was mine deleted for some reason?

I'm guessing you have a 68RFE truck.........

To the best of my knowledge---the "damper" is only installed on the G56 trucks.

Power Hop Damper

Any chance of me adding this I will see any improvement in rear suspension quality? Has anyone tried to see the difference or know of the reasoning for it?

Never mind, I searched and found. Only confusion now is on the correct bracket. Shows 3 part #'s, which is the best for a stock height 4x4?
