I was woundering if the auto transmission out of the 4500/5500 6.7 was stronger than the ones in the 3/4 / 1ton trucks, and if so, will it bolt on a 5.9?

If its a CAB and Chassis its all Asien. If its a dully or 2500 its a 68re.Its its a manual its a G56 in all.Swapping to a 5.9(Auto is 48re.Late model manual is G56) has kinda been mentioned.Use the SEARCH function and read old posts.I think the electronics are the BIG issue.Very differant. If I'm wrong on how I explained the differant transmission maybe someone else will jump in.So to answeryour question. Most anything can be done but is the payback worth the effort and bucks.I'm sure this swap will be explored more in the future.
