Just to let you know. The Truck is a 5500 CC. The Dealer is M&L Motors in Lexington, NC 27295. They have the truck on the lot ready to go. I will be getting some pictures from them here in a couple hours. I will PM you my cell number for questions.

That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about!!!! When I go to the M&L Motors inventory website off the dodge.com link, it shows only 1 5500 available and it is a 2 door model.

We will be in North Carolina by the second week of October. Maybe this sweet ride will still be available.

Thats pretty cool. Does anyone know if they have a box for the regular cab set-up? I didnt see it on their site. I've always wanted one since I saw that blue "BFT" truck that dodge pieced together from a one ton chassis.

In case you havent seen it...

Yes, it is pretty cool looking. BUT the sides are too high for towing a 5th wheel trailer.

My wife is originally from the central coast of Cali.(right down the street from Pismo dunes) Everytime we visit I see guys that have MASSIVE lifte trucks and Jacked Up t.t and 5ers. I just think it looks very unsafe.

Other than that, beautiful truck.
The bed isn't to high if you have your trailer's designed for the trucks higher bed. The back of my box sits at 55 inches and I have 10 inches of clearance on one trailer and 13 inches on my flatbed. No flipped axle's

Wow. That is pretty steep even with their "discount". One would think the carryover inventory cost and taxes implications would be enough for them to drop the price just to move it. Especially for an '08.

I have seen bigger discounts on 1 year old rigs (that are in demand) that just take up lot space. Granted they aren't 4500/5500 series.

Good luck finding the right one.

My thoughts entirely Tony. Why would they want to keep asking for so much for a truck that keeps getting older? It is beyond me.

The key at this point is the amount they give for your trade... The dealer isn't going to really get to the bottom until they see some money. They need to know that you are serious..
