Cb

We have a 2020 ram 5500 tradesman.
We would like to mount a CB in it for wen we travel. But there doesn't seem anywhere to mount one that will not be in the way.
Has anyone ever mounted one in their truck? If so where and what kind?

While I do not own nor have even seen the interior of a 5500 except in a picture here is a thought.. I am assuming since it is a tradesman it does not have a full center console and has a bench seat. On my previous 01 I bought a bracket that fit under the center section of the bench seat and angled upwards so that the cb's front was facing upwards like this https://www.genosgarage.com/product/...ories-interior I would be surprised if this particular one fit a 2020 but it gives you an idea of perhaps how to go about it. In my 01 that mount worked great, a full size cobra 29 fit just fine there with no issues . Perhaps you could fab up a similar type bracket that would work for the particular layout of the area.
