2007 cab and chasis? length, width?

I know this thread is supposed to be for 4500 and 5500 trucks but Im hoping you guys can help me out with this. My fiance is buying her dads 2007 dodge 3500 cab and chasis, crew cab. I know that gm makes their frames different on their regular trucks than their cab and chasis's, but she is wondering if she can put a reg dually bed on that truck(it currently has a flat bed on it). I told her I knew that gm's were not the same but I didnt know about dodges, so I figured someone on here would know about this, I'd appreciate any advice, thanks.

Well hopefully I can talk her into keeping the flat bed, its not like she ever uses the bed anyways she just doesnt like how it looks.

yea, its a good website, lots of info, even though I dont have a diesel there is still a few guys with trucks like mine. One day I'd like to have a diesel, I might be buying a dodge though since GM isnt making manual transmissions anymore, but I wont get into that.
