Hey DTR:

Have a 2006 3500 mega with a kelderman air ride setup that has a rusting frame. Original plan was to do the mega cab long bed frame extension... But the Ram long hauler got me thinking. Why not purchase a used 5500 frame / sandblast and hot dip galvanize it put the unimog axles under it, mount the hiab where the ram long hauler put the ugly tank behind the cab. And then an 8 foot regular bed or flatbed.

Questions:

-what year frame would you suggest?
-what are my chances of finding it used?
-anybody got one for sale?
