I just got a set of Big Blast Air Horns from JC Whitney. The wiring installation diagram has a lot to be desired. I would like to know it anyone has any knowledge in hooking these up? Do I have to use the relay that came with the horns or can I just hook up directly to the existing horns? If you have pictures or can direct me to some wiring diagrams that would be great.

Use the relay, it's there for a reason. I don't have 1st hand use w/it but you need a hot & a ground for each horn. The grounds can be run parallel w/each other. Are they actually air horns or look-a-like air horns? Did they come w/a compressor or an air tank? HTH

 

They are air horns. They have the mini compressor. I am not quite sure where to splice into. I have an 06 CTD 2500. Do I splice into the two wires going into the horn?
