I got a used Quadzilla A-pillar mount for my Pulse, but I didn't get the longer bolt with it. I pulled the bolt out of the pillar to measure, but none of my thread gauges match the threads on the bolt I took out.

Does anyone know the thread size of the bolts that hold the A-Pillar on?

 

if i can remember, it is a 10mm metric. hard as to find. went to 3 differant hardware stores to find one to fit and is long enough. If i am wrong with the size, i do know it is a metric size

 

Well, I went to town today and did some looking. Couldn't find the style I wanted, but did find a 1/4"-28TPI nut screws on. The 28TPI thread gauge I have doesn't match though, so I still don't know for sure. Going to try the bolt I picked up and see if it works for now and do some looking online to find the style I want. Think I'm going to call Quadzilla and see if I can't get one from them.

 

the one i have on mine is a hex head, i couldnt find a counter sink when i was looking. Its ugly but works.

 

I believe the bolt is metric 8X1.25

 

Well, I called Quad on Friday. The gal didn't know the size for sure, but for $5.00, sent me 2 of them. Worked for me.
