Definately looks better with the caps on! Makes the wheels look narrow and wimpy with caps off, and wide and beefy with the caps on.

I'm only going to say this one time as I feel I need to get this off my chest.

What in the blue blazes goes through ya'lls minds that would make you want to a. take your center caps off or b. paint your wheels black or c. both ?

You sure don't see stock trucks come that way, reason being is because trucks wouldn't sell if they looked like that on the lot.

Whew, I feel better....been waiting awhile to say that

Now, back to my question.....what look are ya'll looking for when ya'll black out a pair of nice, shiny, set of good looking wheels

i cant believe you dont know the answer to that, just about every one wants there car -truck -boat- house- clothes list goes on an on ,each of us is unique an different and we want the things we own to be that way. know body wants to stop at a light an look next to you an say that looks just like my truck or go home an you cant find your house with out looking at the street number.just think back to when all cars and trucks were black. times change an so have we!

I second what nelrod said. Looks like something is missing.

That, and it also reminds me of all the fartcan rice burners that the young kids are running around in. They remove the center caps for the "race look", kinda like putting a wing on the back of a front wheel drive car.

That, or it looks like some one stole your center caps.

Wow I never expected this to be so heated!!!
I agree with what was stated above, it is nice to be a little different. Everyone here in south TX has heavy duty rams it like the camery of TX. So I thought I would try something a little different. Thanks for the comments...

I almost did the same thing you did. But I think you saved me from alot work for nothing. The black does contrast the rims nicely, but they make the wheels look narrow and small. IMO the caps add the beef to them. Put the caps on.

Talking

First off I have to agree with Arkapigdiesel I for one do not care for the black powder coated wheel look, "to me" I've seen some sharp lookings trucks not so sharp looking anymore, but that's my opinon/right to say that. Just as it's ones own right to do it if they want, it's their truck, their money, and opinion/right to say it looks awesome to them along with others that think so. I guess thats why they make so many different kinds of ice cream for your right to choose. Now in "subspd" case I probably would not do it myself because that's just me, I would come near running without caps with the painted hubs than I would powder coating the wheels black. That's all I got to say about that.

Tony
