I am anxious to know how those KM2s hold up, I was really leary of the 285 or 295s (can't remember) because of the low load rating in that size, plus being an 8 ply. I ran the coopers but they had like 300 or 400 more lbs per tire and felt they were a spongy, especially with my camper on.

the toyos were a $100 more a tire, so I had a hard time making a decision on the two. these toyos better get at least 40k out of them!

anxious to see your truck after it is complete!

Man, I'm gettin jealous. I got my KM2's sittin in my shed waiting for a new home and the wheels are 5 weeks out

Jezz, the KM2 in a 305 is E rated (3195 lbs). Were your coopers E rated cause a D might cause some sidewall flex due to less plys. Just a thought.

Mega....that rig is looking great, get some full truck shots up asap

Actually the white letters don't look that bad on that wheel, black would still be better. Maybe you will start a "new" trend

So I am out another day...... which there is no real rush my mechanic didnt know if he would have time to set them all up for me this week....
Kinda dropped it on him all at once.

P.S The Bling Bus (as my friends are calling it now) is a total trend setter.....

Wow thats all (rating)? my 295 Toyos are Es with 3900+, 10 ply, 3ply sidewall. I can notice a big difference. yes the coopers were a D, but they were rated around 3400. the 285s or 295s that I saw for the KM2s are Ds with a 3100 ish rating, which made me leary. Nice looking tires tho...

Those toyos have a nice heavy rating. They just don't make the size I was looking for and I don't tow anything that heavy, so the KM2 should be fine for my needs. They are a great looking tire, now I gotta wait and see how they ride.

I hear you, make sure to give a rating on them after they wear out, Hopefully they are a great tire for our rigs, cause I like the price a whole more than Toyos.
