What is this???

broken wire

I noticed this today on my truck. The group of wires is in a metal holder coming up by the fan. It looks as if the wires are torn. The holder doesn't look bent at all and I can't find any other wire anywhere. Can someone please help me????

thanks

It appears its the wire harness that attaches to your fan clutch. You need to get that back to the dealer for the necessary repair. You must have an engine code to boot identifiing an issue with your fan clutch.

Thanks for the help. I will be taking it there in a cpl days. I have to wait to get my other car back from the dealer. Will it hurt to drive it?? I will only be driving a cpl mile a day. also just wondering if that would be something covered under warranty. I don't see how it could have broke.

It won't hurt to drive it like that but it should be covered. Looks like something got caught in the fan and wiped out the conduit and with it the wiring. Good luck with the dealer.
