I do not have a picture of the one from Mopar but it works great in the winter. I do not install untill the temperatures stay below 50 degrees. So I install around Thanksgiving and remove around March. My drive to work is about 7 miles, in the winter truck water temp will just about reach 200 degrees (with the winter front). I plug the truck ( in the grarage) when temps are around 40 or lower over night. The front has about a 6" square hole in the center and above 50 degrees I can start hearing the engine fan comming on.

Go with the mopar model, well worth the money for it. Over the past couple years I do not use if towing heavy weight or over 40 degress.

Second the Mopar unit, it is a bit pricy however it's well worth it. You do not see it and it has 4 adjustable openings.

I like my Mopar one too. Goes on and off easily, looks good (actually hard to tell its on), and is adjustable (4 triangle vents) for differing temps. or usages.

I also have the Mopar one. Very nice unit. I bought mine on a popular auction site, but check the other national for sale site as well. You never know if one will be there. You could get lucky.

I'm another fan of the Mopar front. I bought mine the first winter, and it makes a huge difference in warm up time.

In place of cardboard check to see if you can find some plastic sheeting. I have some that came from a pallet and it is heavy enough that it won't break down and being plastic rain/water do not affect it.

It is suggested to cut a circle in the center where the fan clutch is to allow air to get through to prevent it from engaging when not really needed. Also the hole will help prevent excessive flexing of the fan blades. The hole needs to be about 8 inches in size.
