Water leaking into cab under glovebox
Water leaking into cab under glovebox
I recently noticed water is leaking into my cab from under the glovebox. It's an intermitant drip. Before it start dripping, I can hear a sloshing sound from under the dash when going around turn or curves.
Initially, i thought it was the AC freezing problem, but the dripping occurs even when the AC is off. Although most of time it happens when the AC is on. Any suggestions?
By the way, I have a 2003 quad cab std output.
Thanks,
Wilson

I don't know about the 3rd gen's, but mine was caused by the drain hose throught the fire wall. It didn't seem to be stopped up, but after adding a 90* piece of hose on it, it quite wetting the floor. Some folks said it was not letting the water drain due to wind turbulance under the hood.

I had the same problem. theres a fresh air intake duct under the couling on the passinger side. remove the couling and there is a large patch of foul tape that covers a hole, remove the foul, and inside the hole theres a plastic tube that comes through the firewall, just seel around the duct where it comes through the firewall. I hope thats clear as mud
