Water leaking into cab!!!

I have a 96' 1 ton duelly. I noticed after the last snow storm that my carpet on both sides in the frobt was wet. I got it dry and when it rained for a day, I noticed that the carpet was wet again. Now moldy! I figured that the windshield was leaking so had it replaced. When they replaced it, the epoxy that holds the glass on was fine. The installer even said that whoever had put the last windshield in went a little crazy with so much epoxy! Where else could water be leaking in from/ This is happening with it sitting level in the drive way!

Thanks in advance!

How does the door seal look? All the fords I've seen have issue with that. One reason I wanted a 97 or down for our 4x4.

Most common leak source on these trucks is the cab back brake light.
Either buy a new seal from the dealer or remove and silicone down the old one.
Seems strange but the brake light leak will make it to the front floor without getting much else wet along the way.

In my case the front drivers side was getting wet from the rear window seal. The water flowed down the seam and into the front part of the cab and this is a club cab. Replaced seal no more leak

water leak

I will definitely do that!! Mine is a extended cab as well! Crazy that it would go to the front without getting the back wet!?

You might also check the seal on the door toward the front. It runs on a track between the front of the door and the top back of the door. Mine had slid back leaving the front part open. One easy way to check is to have someone sit inside your truck while you run a water hose over the roof. It it is the seals it will come right in through the doors. If it's the brake light, it may be a little harder to spot, I just siliconed mine to be safe.

My rear carpet was never wet either, and I'm not gonna tell you how much time I spent pull out the front seats, etc to find the leak. Finally pulled the rear seats out, took the cap off had the Mrs. spray the rear window finally I located water running down the back wall. The glass man also had to break the glass inorder to replace the seal. What a PAIN.

Easy way to find cab leaks is to tape off the exit vents at the rear of the door jams, close all windows and turn the fan on high. This will pressurize the cab enough so that soapy water sprayed on any leak will bubble.
